Musician from Alma in Lac-St-Jean, Sandra Contour made her debut on the music scene in 2021. She is the winner of the 30th edition of Ma première place des arts, a finalist of the 12th edition of Cabaret Festif! de la relève, and part of the lineup for the 28th edition of Les Francouvertes.

Her songs invite listeners to dive into a bittersweet universe, evoking sly smiles. Through her folk music—sometimes tragic, sometimes humorous, but always sensitive—she seeks to deconstruct dramatic and overwhelming concepts, transforming them into something restorative. She sings about the nostalgia of forgetting to take photos, paper planes battling the wind, separations that leave a couch behind, or houses that make you walk crooked.

On stage, she strives to connect with her audience with words like “hello” or “Emotions still distinguish us from robots to this day, so we might as well enjoy them.” Nuances, contrasts, and self-depreciation are among her favorite things. She released her first album, J’ai pas d’visite, in May 2024
