Olivier Faubert discovered his passion for music at the age of 11. In 2003, he was cast as The Little Prince in the musical of the same name. This experience enabled him to share the stage with such renowned artists as Michel Rivard, Jonathan Painchaud and Matt Laurent.
As a teenager, Olivier made numerous stage appearances with his band Haniston, opening for Les Respectables. In 2019, with his new group Miirages, he released his first single in French, “La Fonte”. In February 2021, Olivier was selected from over 5,000 contestants to take part in the Star Académie TV show as a singer-songwriter. The end of this adventure marked the beginning of another for the singer-songwriter: the creation of his first EP, “Mes ombres”, with his accomplices Julyan, Benoit Massé and Steeven Chouinard. A few weeks after the release of his first mini-album, Olivier was selected from over 1000 artists across Canada to be part of a program to support emerging artists called “First Up with RbcXmusic”. He is the only French-speaking artist in this 2022 crop of 21 Canadian songwriters. At the 55th edition of the Festival International de la chanson de Granby, he is selected as one of the finalists. In March 2024, he launches his first album, “Pour ne pas mourir en hiver”, produced by Dominique Plante.
