MUZION

Composed of Québécois singer-songwriters of Haitian origin Dramatik, Imposs, and J.Kyll, MUZION is one of the flagship, pioneering, socially conscious, and innovative groups of French hip-hop in Quebec. Once considered a cult collective of underground rappers in the Montreal scene, establishing the delivery and sounds of Quebec rap, the group released two albums. Their first, "Mentalité Moune Morne", released in 1999, quickly became a classic in Quebec's music history, followed by "J’rêvolutionne in 2002", acclaimed by both the public and critics.

Nominated for "Songwriter of the Year" and winner of several awards including "Francophone Hip-Hop Album of the Year" at the ADISQ, this album continues to be ranked among the best albums created in the last 50 years in Quebec. Propelled by the huge hit single "La vi ti nèg," a staple in Quebec's musical repertoire, still requested year after year on all stages during major shows and cultural events, the album and its members have toured the world and collaborated with some of Quebec and the world's biggest names.

Still active in their respective careers, the three members of the group have shaped history and remain today important figures in Quebec and Canadian artistic, socio-cultural, and political scenes.
