MULCH (Montreal, QC) was born out of an urgent need for vulnerability and experimentation. Initially rooted in hardcore punk, the band quickly blurred boundaries by integrating noise rock, drone, and much more into its chaotic universe. Between avant-garde post-punk and raw sonic exploration, MULCH likes to ask more questions than it answers.

Since forming in December 2023, the band has released a string of projects: its first bilingual EP Nothing Grows Out of Dried Flowers (February 2024), an explosive split with Population II (Mulchulation II, October 2024, Bonsound), and the audacious Nuance Maximum (November 2024), entirely in French.
