In the spring of 2022, MODLEE officially signed with the Disques 7ième Ciel label, making her the first female artist to join its ranks. The singer launched her album SOUL URGE on 15 April 2022.

SOUL URGE is the result of a visionary and unique co-production between MODLEE and Vlooper. The stories shared speak of inner healing along with a message to the outside world. The album combines foundations of hip-hop, electronic influences and the expansion of soul fusion styles. SOUL URGE is also a deep dive into a parallel universe of R&B, cradled by the hushed vocals and imagination of MODLEE. It's a tribute to beauty, the feeling of growing up, of surrendering to the desires of the heart and soul.
