It all started in 2018 when Bruno Bouchard and Charles Laplante got together in a garage after the death of their respective bands. What was originally meant to be a Hot Snakes tribute band rehearsing once every three weeks turned into something more serious after the arrival of human metronome Gabrielle Oltra. The trio left the garage and moved into Studios de Rouen, where a fourth member appeared: bassist Patrick “Patch” Chagnon.

Songs quickly began to take shape, and the band was ready to record an album—right when the pandemic hit. The quartet went on to record all 12 tracks of their debut effort during curfew hours. The result? A record that shoots off in so many directions, the band had no choice but to deconstruct the label anarcho-punk and invent the only genre that could contain all their influences: arachno-punk!
